12 Days of Christmas – Day 3

On the 3rd of Christmas, my true-self gave to me:

“The 3 Elements of Success and Abundance”

I have alluded to these elements many times in the past. They are: a dream, a team and a theme. By coupling these ingredients with the glue that holds them together, ACTION, you have the recipe for success in any circumstance.

  1. The Dream – Many people tell you that all you need is a big dream, and all will be come to you easily and freely.  This is only partially true.  Having a dream is the fuel that makes action possible.  It will not however, magically make your desires appear.  You need all 3 elements along with focused effort to make your desires a reality.  Your dream is what makes you do the things that you don’t want to do without complaining.  Anyone who knows a thing or two about any kind of succes, will tell you that the way to be the most successful is to look at what others are doing and do the opposite.  Do use that as a direction and then picture your dream or desire at the end of that tunnel.  A good dream must make your head spin and your heart race when you think about it.  If it doesn’t do that, it isn’t a big enough dream.  You can have small dreams too, but they will not give you the juice to take focused and consistent actions.  So, make sure you have a dream that excites you, and then the actions that need to take to get what you want will come freely and easily.
  2. The Team – It doesn’t matter what your endeavor, you cannot accomplish great things alone.  Whether it is business, life purpose, relationships, etc, a team is key to ensuring that the best result is achieved.  If you are in business, there are too many tasks and ideas that must be processed in order to run smoothly, efficiently and profitably.  Delegation, brainstorming and teamwork are all crucial to achieving massive success in business.  In life, if you isolate yourself and do not allow others to provide their experience and feedback, you have nothing to measure your success or lack of success.  By living in a vacuum, you subject yourself to a very narrow view and therefore a limited result.  In relationships, the very word suggests that there must be a connection with another person or persons.  Being in a “relation”-ship means that you are relating your thoughts and feelings with another.  Bu shutting out your partner, you are not participating in a relationship, and therefore it is destined to failure.
  3. The Theme – It is great to have a desire to have more, and it even better to have a team to help you get there, but without the vehicle to get there.  Not having a theme or system to take you to your dreams, its like having a gas can full of gas, a map to your desired destination, but no car to take you there.  You could take public transportation, but that will only take you to where everyone else is going.  In order to really achieve your dreams, you have to have a tailored system that can work in harmony with your values and desires.  The takes many forms, such as a detailed business or life plan, or as vague as a vocation that can produce income to allow you to save for something that you want.  Whatever the source of your action, without a plan you can only HOPE for the best, instead of EXPECTING it.
